Agglomerated sintered and sintered crushed oxide thermal spray powders are designed to deliver stable spray performance and reliable coating quality for demanding industrial applications. Agglomerated sintered powders feature porous, spherical or near-spherical granules formed from fine primary particles, providing excellent flowability, uniform melting behavior, and high deposition efficiency, making them ideal for plasma spray processes. In contrast, sintered crushed powders offer angular particle morphology with high bulk density, good phase stability, and strong in-flight thermal response, enabling dense, hard coatings with excellent wear, corrosion, and insulation performance. These oxide powders—such as alumina, chromia, zirconia, and composite ceramics—are widely applied in wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, thermal barrier, and electrical insulation coatings for steel, petrochemical, power generation, semiconductor, and paper industries.
